Mental Health is a topic that is now familiar to everyone thanks in part to a worldwide conversation about its importance. This much needed conversation is the result of a global pandemic that left us with no choice but to evaluate our lives and think about what is important to us. Isolation, loss of income, loss of routine, loss of freedom and all the time in the world to think and worry has had serious consequences for many people.

I have worked in the health industry for over 20 yrs. I have witnessed a dramatic shift in the way people view therapy. Mental health is fast becoming a priority for the masses and rightly so. The damaging opinions of the past that only troubled individuals spoke with psychologists have now been replaced by a recognition that in our fast paced, demanding world professional help is a necessity. Simply talking to a third party without judgement and with complete confidentiality allows you to be honest with yourself and to do the work that is necessary to heal.

A truly healthy life combines mental and physical well-being. I specialise in mental health issues that can have mild symptoms for some or debilitating symptoms for others. These include but are not limited to stress management, anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, grief or loss and weight management or eating disorders. I am also a qualified personal trainer with years of experience witnessing the benefits that simply moving for 30 minutes a day can have on every aspect of a person’s life.

Everyone needs help at some point and reaching out to a professional that has the knowledge and skills to assist you with your concern is not always easy, but it is always rewarding and beneficial.

Feel free to send me a message or call me to chat about how we can work together to address your concerns.
